Huslík logotype with the acorn-shaped Huslíček mascot, designed by SLOWRAT

The Challenge

Huslík is a Czech wildlife rescue station, ecocentre, and land trust operating from a single site in a floodplain forest. Schools bring children for nature programmes. Injured animals arrive around the clock.

The organisation was growing — but its brand was falling apart. Each of Huslík's three branches had developed its own visual identity over the years. Separate logos, separate colours, separate everything — none of it cohesive, none of it strong.

The Approach

We started by defining Huslík as one organisation with one mission — not three separate entities sharing an address.

The new brand system needed to work across very different contexts: from rescue station signage to children's camp materials to formal grant applications.

We built a unified visual identity that connects all branches while giving each enough room to breathe.

The language draws from the natural world Huslík protects — organic, warm, and unmistakably alive.

The Approach

The website went well beyond design. Huslík's site is a working tool: teachers register school groups, parents sign children up for camps and clubs, and the team manages everything on the back end.

We designed and built the system in Webflow, extended with Make.com automations connecting to invoicing (iDoklad), email (Gmail), and file management (Google Drive). What looks simple to the visitor is a fully integrated operational system running underneath.

The Result

Three brands became one. The patchwork disappeared, replaced by a cohesive identity that Huslík now uses across everything — from their website to ongoing marketing campaigns. The registration and automation system handles hundreds of sign-ups per season without manual processing.

The brand continues to grow: Huslík has since launched a forest kindergarten under the same identity, proving the system was designed to scale.
