Vyrai is an interactive post-apocalyptic novel. It tells the story of Yrja, a girl living in a world devastated by an apocalypse where humanity is scarce, technology is banned, and knowledge and tales are lost. After being forced to leave her village, Yrja embarks on a journey to Vyraj, the underworld, to uncover her people's past and change their fate.

Yrja has a unique ability to perceive time in a distinct way, enabling her to see the past, present, and future simultaneously. The plot branches out in various directions, allowing the reader to explore different scenarios.

Typography is the key element of the design of this project. The text orientation frequently changes, requiring the reader to rotate their device. The layout of the text mirrors the story's events: lengthy verses signify movement, while blocks of text depict static scenes. As the plot branches, so does the text, with each sentence leading in a different direction.

In this interactive story, the reader can manipulate the tense of verbs to engage with the narrative, uncover concealed aspects, modify them, or advance the plot. The objective is for the user to choose the appropriate verb tense to complete the game. To highlight the interactive words we designed a unique typeface that merges uppercase and lowercase letters.
